Participating in the Academy was an eye-opening experience. I gained a deeper understanding of the foundational concepts of praxeology, praxeonomy, and catallaxy, as well as the critical roles that order and institutions play in shaping economic outcomes. These insights have not only enriched my academic perspective but have also inspired me to expand my efforts in research, advocacy, and innovation. Exploring how government policies influence economic behavior and market dynamics was particularly impactful. As someone with a strong passion for fintech and the stock market, the Academy helped me see new connections between theory and real-world application. It sharpened my ability to identify opportunities within complex systems and reinforced my commitment to using economic knowledge to drive positive change.Jabulani C., Menger Academy Cohort I (Jan - May 2025)

Carl Menger Institute for Market Economics has been a transformative journey for me, both personally and professionally. It offered a unique blend of educational, cultural, and networking experiences, including the opportunity to attend impactful sessions like those with Mark A. Skousen, David D. Friedman, Per L. Bylund and many more acclaimed speakers. In addition to that, I now have a network of like-minded individuals from around the world that has been truly inspiring. The supportive environment from the academy staff who acted as a faculty and organizers of the program's immersive structure left an indelible mark on my growth.- Hasbunallah, Menger Academy Cohort I (Jan - May 2025)

Participating in the Academy was an intellectually transformative experience. I found the structure of the program particularly compelling—the way it was built around key pillars allowed for a deep exploration into the foundational components of a society guided by voluntary human action rather than centralized government intervention. We examined a wide array of subjects, from jurisprudence and entrepreneurship to institutions, governance, and the decentralized nature of knowledge, or catallaxy. Each lecture added a unique dimension, enriched by the diversity of professors and scholars who brought perspectives from different disciplines and schools of thought. This range not only deepened my understanding but also sparked critical reflection on the mechanisms that allow societies to thrive organically. The Academy shifted my worldview, sharpening my appreciation for the spontaneous order that arises from individual initiative and free association. It reinforced my belief in the power of human action as the engine of progress, adaptability, and sustainable prosperity.- Ajani G., Menger Academy Cohort I (Jan - May 2025)

This is a unique experience for anybody slightly interested in being a free thinker. The institute’s reach extends way beyond economics, although economics is, of course, at the heart of every topic and discussion. The discussions themselves are profound and the speakers are all excellent and diverse thinkers. I cannot emphasize how rare an opportunity like this is and recommend this institute to practically anyone, regardless of education and political ideology. Professor Djerdjian and the team will reveal an immense world of opportunity to you. I want to thank the institute for such a committed pursuit of freedom and want to return.- Ablai K., Menger Academy Cohort I (Jan - May 2025)

As a Menger Scholar and alumni of the Menger Academy, I could not be more grateful to have been a part of the inaugural cohort. The Menger Academy provided me with valuable insights and academic growth, from the renowned free market scholars who gave guest lectures to the teachings of Professor Djerdjian. The Menger Academy provided a very well rounded experience, from the variety of guest lecturers and faculty to the intellectual community among the students. I would encourage any students who are potentially interested in the Academy to apply--the only limitation to their accumulation of knowledge is the one they put on themself.- James B., Menger Academy Cohort I (Jan - May 2025)

"Professor Djerdjian's course transformed my life trajectory through his class on free-market economics. He is not only knowledgeable and passionate about the subject but also spearheaded an approach that truly challenges students to think critically and outside of the box. He is simply exceptional and unmatched in providing a pro-human perspective."- Sarah G.

"Professor Djerdjian is one of the most pioneering professors—what makes him so great is that he provides a fresh, interesting, and humanistic look at economics, which is so often a confusing mess of insignificant statistics and vague hypotheses. The talks that I have led with him outside class have deepened my respect for him through the wisdom he has shared with me about not just economics, but also philosophy, money management, and life in general. Higher academia prides itself on diversity in all facets but one: difference of thought. For a society to function at its best, there cannot just be one voice or opinion; our very differences are what bring us together. All prospective scholars who seek an unparalleled education infused with diverse perspectives… must seek him."- Miles E.

"The course I took with Professor Djerdjian was my favorite piece of economics: It provided me with a foundational understanding of economists whose names have come up many times in conversations in my professional life—and whose ideas, I believe, will only grow more relevant in the years ahead."- Clare S.

"His unique classes were instrumental in my development as a young Economics student. Exposing students to a wider range of economic theories and ideas should be a core mission of the economic departments at all institutions of higher learning."- Ian B.

"'Austrian Economics' is one of the only classes that I still think about on a weekly basis and find myself discussing with others 8+ years after graduating"- Lauren M. C. P.

"Professor Djerdjian taught one of my most memorable courses. Even among those friends who would disagree with some of Professor Djerdjian's trenchant market economics perspectives, I loved his class as a re-imagined, fascinating thought experiment: 'What if we embraced the exponential potential of market-based ideas?"- Even L.
