Who Are We?

The Carl Menger Institute for Market Economics is a pioneering educational and research center dedicated to developing a distinctly anthropoethical science of market phenomena. The Institute investigates how markets harmonize the diverse knowledge, values, and circumstances of individuals. Thereby, we transcend the false mathematical and inductive frameworks that fail to account for human agency and the role of subjective preference in the marketplace.

What Do We Do?

The Institute's flagship educational program is the Menger Academy. It encompasses a comprehensive, one-year, in-person and fully-covered program. Culminating in a Diploma in Market Economics, the Academy centers around ten holistic "Pillars:" These equip an elite cadre of scholars with a comprehensive understanding of purposeful human action, subjective value assessments, and the institutional-cultural foundations of a prosperous social order.

Select graduates of the Academy — better known as Menger Scholars — may also write for the groundbreaking C. M. Journal. This publication provides an essential platform for scholarship that illuminates the intricate processes of market coordination.
