Mission & Vision
Who Are We?
The Carl Menger Institute for Market Economics is a pioneering educational and research center dedicated to developing economic and praxonomic science.
What Do We Do?
The Institute's flagship educational program is the Menger Academy. It encompasses a comprehensive, one-year, in-person and fully-covered program. Culminating in a Diploma in Market Economics, the Academy centers around ten "Pillars" covering purposeful human action, subjective value assessments, and the institutional-cultural foundations of a prosperous social order.
Graduates of the Academy may also write for the C. M. Journal. This publication provides an essential platform for scholarship that illuminates the intricate processes of market coordination.
What Are Our Goals?
The Carl Menger Institute for Market Economics aims to cultivate curious economic thinkers who will lay the cornerstones for any adaptive, peaceful, and flourishing society. The Academy's graduates are poised to drive change in a plethora of sectors.
Students will spearhead new research initiatives, challenge conventional wisdom, and develop economic frameworks that reflect the reality of human action and market processes. In business, our graduates will bring fresh insights to industries ranging from finance to technology. Their ability to analyze market phenomena through a praxonomic lens will lead navigation of the marketplace from a grounded, understanding point-of-view.
Through their unique paths, Menger Scholars will create lasting impacts that extend far beyond the classroom; they will (re-)shape economic thought and practice for generations to come.
